brainwave Studios LTD is a digital consultancy firm that offers services to private and public sector organisations to. We combine expertise in automation, no-code application building, database management, strategic planning and an innovative mindset to improve operational outcomes.

How we use your data

In pursuit of our business interests we use personal data to manage our relationship with clients and potential clients, deliver our services, and to send news of interest about our firm and its services, and about broader areas of interest to clients. We may do this by post, telephone or email. Those who provide us with email addresses will be sent our e-news from time to time. We may, on occasion, use an email provider, such as Mail Chimp, to send e-marketing. Each newsletter contains an unsubscribe option and we can also remove you from the list if you send a request via email to brainwave Studios LTD.

How we protect your personal data

 

We take the security of your data very seriously. We take precautions to safeguard your personal information against loss, theft and misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure and destruction through the use of appropriate administrative, physical and technical security measures.

Your data is stored on a database system called Airtable which is a cloud based, SOC 2 Type 2 compliant database system. We use Fillout as our digital form builder and it is SOC 2, Type 1 data-gathering compliant service. There is detailed information about their approach to security here: [Security at Fillout](https://www.fillout.com/help/security).

You should be aware that in the case of these systems, data will be transferred outside of the EEA to servers hosted in the US. They both have in place transfer mechanisms with their hosting providers that satisfy the requirements relating to the transfer of data from the European Union to the U.S. governed by appropriate contractual clauses.

 

Our lawful bases for the collection and use of your data

Brainwave Studios LTD. is the Data Controller for the personal data we hold on you. We rely on three grounds for lawful processing:

 

• Contract – we have to collect or use the information so we can enter into or carry out a contract with you. All of your data protection rights may apply except the right to object.

• Information updates and marketing – we process data because it is in our Legitimate Interest and would enable us to refine our services and make improvements to benefit the client

• Where we are communicating with you via your personal email address, rather than a company email address, we rely on your consent to do so. You can withdraw this consent at any time.
